Suzuki launches expensive Kizashi in China
Kizashi’s body size measure 4650/1280/1480 mm with a wheelbase of 2700 mm, which makes it bigger than the existing Suzuki model. The design of long wheelbase, short overhang and short tailstock is not only dynamic but also helps to expand the cabin space.
Kizashi is equipped with a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine and provides 6-speed manual transmission and CVT (continuously variable transmission) for customers to choose. It only takes 8.8 seconds for Kizashi's CVT version to accelerate from idle state to 100km/h and the time can be further shortened to 7.8 seconds if a manual transmission is used. Besides, the fuel consumption of Kizashi within one hundred miles is controlled under 7.8 liters.
The newly developed i-AWD four-wheel drive system is another highlight of Kizashi. The i-AWD can enhance the efficient use of power and ensure the stability of acceleration. In addition, when running on a curvy road, it can collaborate with ESP (Electronic Stability Program) system to improve active safety. Equipping a four-wheel drive system on a medium-sized sedan is rather rare among similar models.
